A versatile plant for circulation, digestion, and the body's outer defenses.
Yarrow supports healthy blood flow, digestive comfort, and the body's natural response to colds, flu, and minor wounds by helping regulate how the body opens and closes. It's one of my most used and trusted herbs; a staple in my medicine chest.
Essence:
- For times when the body needs support moving heat, fluids, and circulation in a steady, balanced way
- Encourages healthy circulation and blood flow
- Supports the body's ability to release surface heat during colds and flu
- Grounding support for digestion and liver–gallbladder function
Other Ritual & Use:
Colds, Flu & Exterior Release – Yarrow helps the body open and release when you're coming down with something. It supports sweating gently, allowing heat and tension to move outward rather than settling deeper.
1–2 droppers (30–60 drops) every few hours at the onset of symptoms.
Menstrual Flow Support – Traditionally used for delayed menses or menstrual flow that feels excessive. Yarrow encourages circulation while also offering a tightening, toning quality that supports balance.
